EPISODE 1: Abel suffers an anxiety attack during a business presentation at work, leading to him taking a stress-free job at his local Theatre. However, he soon finds himself drawn to the stage.
EPISODE 2: After a car crash outside the Theatre in which Abel helps save the life of the victim, actress Meryl Cruise appears on local TV as an eye-witness. Because of her dramatic retelling of the accident, she becomes an overnight celebrity.
EPISODE 3: During a performance of Romeo & Juliet one evening, a new character suddenly appears on stage alongside the two lead actors. Even off-stage the man doesn’t break character. Just who is Petruchio, and how did he get to Community Theatre?
EPISODE 4: Abel finds himself having to navigate a series of increasingly odd situations. It soon emerges that he is undergoing ‘The Test’ to see if he’s a suitable candidate to join the Local Theatre Acting Union. Can he pass? Does he even want to?
EPISODE 5: Theatre boss David Davidson calls in the help of master Improv Teacher Jerry Jackson to help Abel disappear into a character, in preparation for their upcoming show. However, his Improv with Meryl soon spirals out of control, and the two find themselves alone in a far away land.
EPISODE 6: The premiere of the group’s new show: Old Hands. Can the group come together to stop the Theatre from going under, and can Abel successfully face his fears?
